These guys are on the road every day rescuing surplus good food from supermarkets, restaurants, growers and whoever has surplus food so that Fair Food can re-distribute this food back into the community, for those who need it most. And believe me, there are a lot of families out there who need food during this COVID lockdown and businesses too who don’t want to see good food go to waste when a family is doing it tough.
We’ve recently supported Fair Food with two extra trucks and have always looked after their fleet so that they have the right tools for the food rescue trade!
So, we thought it’s timely to do a bit of a shout out to our friends at Fair Food on the frontline every day ‘feeding people, not landfill’ and kick off a lockdown boredom-busting colouring competition for the kids!
