These little Jimnys are full of potential and the aftermarket parts support for them is quite large, starting from bullbars, lift kits, muddies and even forced induction!
There’s many off-roading enthusiasts here in NZ and the Jimny is becoming a popular choice due to its off-roading capabilities and modifications support. Here we have a group that involves Aidan Taylor who is a 3rd year apprentice here at WCAG, he and his mates set off on a little mission which involved heaps of sand dunes, tough terrains and muddy bowls to test their Jimnys out and overall have a wicked weekend!
Their trip started off in Dargaville in very wet conditions but posed no difficulties to them and their Jimnys, they powered through and up to the lighthouse for some sand dune climbing challenges! After a long day it was time to set up camp and watch the sunset to rest up for another day of off road adventures. Their next day consisted of driving back through some more tough terrains and finding out what the Jimny’s can conquer! The drive back consisted of raiding through the dunes again and back towards the beach exit, taking along many memories and smiles all around!
The boys were proud to say they drove up, had the times of their lives and drove all the way back with no problems!
